This kit combines our premium rope and spur climber kits for the ultimate set of professional tree climbing gear. You get both a lightweight spur climbing setup and gear to climb in a Stationary Rope System or Moving Rope System. Every component of this kit is top-of-the-line for comfort, construction, and features. This kit sets up a professional climber with top of the line gear to start a career in tree care.

Kit comes with Medium harness by default. Leave a comment if you need a different size.

Kit supplied with hybrid tree gaffs. Pole Gaffs (better for thin bark) may be substituted by request.

What You Get

The Tree Climbing Harness is the amazing DMM Kinisi Pro. The Kinisi Pro was developed with Treemagineers and built entirely by DMM in Wales. This means it has the ultimate in modern tree climbing features, with the very best materials, manufacturing, and quality control. Super durable out layer with replaceable and washable padding. Dual-rope bridges with floating ring and dual forward facing dee rings give you plenty of connection options, with hip rings for attaching a lanyard. All buckles are premium-quality quick-connect, with adjustable straps, so once you have a perfect fit you get it every time.

Your Climbing Rope is the versatile drenaLINE 11.8mm from Teufelberger. This rope works great in both Moving Rope Systems (MRS) and Stationary Rope Systems (SRS), with hitches and modern climbing hardware.

Your kit contains everything you need for a Ropewalker System to enter the tree in SRS. Rope Wrench, split tether, prusik, and Phlotich pulley for hitch-minding. The SAKA floating knee ascender and Turbofoot EVO ascender combine to make climbing as efficient and simple as 'walking' up the rope. Once in the tree, work in MRS or SRS as you see fit.

Your Spur Climbing setup use the Buckingham ArborAir Aluminum tree climbing spikes. These are the lightest Aluminum climbers Buckingham makes, with supportive and comfortable wrap pads. The 12' Maxi-Flip sport flipline is high-quality and lightweight, with Flemish eye splices in the steel cable. Adjustment provided by the SMC Grip - a popular, ergonomic rope grab.

Your Throw Line Setup has 10 and 12 oz Petzl Jet Bags for redundancy. These throw weights feature an inner liner for extra security against breaks. Petzl's Airline stays round for easy gliding through branches and over bark, and flies great out of the Eclipse line storage cube. The CAMP Herbol friction saver protects your rope and the tree, and is easy to install from the ground.

The Carabiners used throughout the kit are top-quality and made in the USA by Exotica. The two oval-shaped RockO carabiners are for use in your Moving Rope System. The symmetrical shape keeps your setup vertically aligned. The Pirate carabiner is an HMS (pear) shape, which is ideal for connecting your flipline adjuster. Both styles of carabiner feature the standard Rock Exotica pull-down gate, which is easier to open one-handed or with gloves.

Gear Storage for your kit is provided by a Petzl Eclipse throw line storage tool, Petzl Transport rope bag, and WesSpur spur bag. All of your gear will be organized and ready to take to the job site.

The Tree Climber's Companion, 3rd Edition gives you a handy reference and manual for tying knots, performing a pre-climb inspection, entering the tree, and much more.
