The Ultra O's symmetrical rope baskets are ideal for assisted breaking devices, pulleys, swivels and shackles. They also give stable loading characteristics, as attachments can self-center under load with minimal movement from the carabiner.

Great all around 'biner

This works very well for split-tail ascent with an eye-to-eye, especially if you want to swap out your tail once aloft and connect your prusik directly to your saddle to be closer. The sleek and consistent frame thickness allows rotation thru my other connectors and tail thimbles when changing connections. Shorter fingers will appreciate the modest reach to the gate, comfortable grippy knurl and the ease to lift & open. Flawless finish, as always.
