Description
Swivel-pulley from SMC. Cold-forged swivel eye offers 360-degrees of access, with space for up to three carabiners. Rounded shape is excellent for use with textiles and carabiners alike.
The symmetrical side-plates are optimized for use in prusik-based progress capture systems. When unlocked and fully open, the Apex allows versatility when loading the rope anywhere in the system without disconnecting the pulley from the anchor.
A simple lock mechanism is easy to operate and allows opening with one-hand. Simply pivot the lock, depress the lock, and swing the side-plate. Closing the side-plate re-engages the lock and secures the rope.
