Handy
K&H wedges are tops. I use these small ones for holding up stump cuts or bucking logs.

Keep several on the truck
I use these 9 times out of 10 to wedge up large stumps when I am cutting them low for the stump grinder. Real handy to keep the saw from getting pinched on 40â€+ hardwoods

Small, but Mighty
This is perfect for when you need something smaller than your average wedge. (So far, I've noticed that these are ideal when bucking to ensure that you don't get pinched.) Red Head wedges seem to be the most durable wedges that I've come across so far. There's not a lot of mushrooming up on the back edge when you hit it with the back of an axe like a lot of cheaper wedges get. You might as well get two--you're going to need them, plus, these are the best stacking wedges that I've found. I can triple stack these when needed and have no issues with them popping out, unlike some other wedges. Having multiple sizes and a few of each size proves to make wedges as useful as they could possibly be.
