The Petzl ASAP mobile fall-arrest device travels with the user and acts as a rope brake to arrest an uncontrolled descent. The ASAP will work on vertical or angled rope, and can be easily installed midline. This fall-arrest device is compatible with the ASAP 'Sorber energy-absorbing lanyards which give the user the desired distance from the life support line and help to absorb the energy generated during a fall and lessen the force applied to the climber.
