The absolute premium spur in the range. The enlarged, forward and angled shank out of carbon fiber, makes this the most ergonomic and lightest spur on the market. The Vibram rubber sole protects the carbon shank and provides a firm grip on limbs.
Climber pads are housed in a virtually indestructible, high-quality composite plastic shell. Lighter than carbon fiber with excellent stiffness and impact resistance.

Distel Climbers - History, Quality, & Innovation
Ulrich Distel built his first pair of entirely fiberglass climbers in his garage back in 1989. He began taking the climbers to trade shows, and followed them up with aluminum spurs. From the beginning, the climbers that bear the Distel name have been innovative and high-quality.

Carbon is the way

After three years of bombing with aluminum spurs and leather L pads this was a major step up. Very light weight and ergonomic in tree. Rubber foot pad under the spur allows the wearer to walk cautiously around the worksite without have to remove the spurs and damage the gaffs
