Samson splicing instructiosn assume the use of Samson rope splicing tools.
Note: Samson rope splicing instructions are divided according to the type of fiber out of which the rope are constructed. "Class 1" ropes are made from any or all of the following fibers: olefin, polyester, or nylon. Examples include Stable Braid, Tenex, ArborMaster®, and Velocity.
The "Class 2" ropes are made in whole or part from any or all of the following high modulus fibers: Dyneema, Vectran, Technora, and PBO.
