SRS (Stationary Rope System) was formerly called SRT (Single Rope Technique).
Climbing trees on a single, non-moving leg of rope is rapidly gaining popularity. Entering the tree on SRS can be done faster and more efficiently. Many climbers will enter a tree on SRS and switch to a MRS (formerly DdRT) to work the tree.
