‘T’ pads provide expanded padding around the shin and are much more comfortable.
Super Climber pads spread the climber's weight over the greatest surface area, for extra comfort and support.

“ Wow! Got this new spur kit a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to test drive them three times in the past week. Averaged 5 hours per day in the tree, and my legs felt great. The wide velcro wrap and thick padding on the upper calf provide security and comfort. The spurs have great bite - no slipping. The combination of the Klein spurs and Big Buck Velcro pads isn't available anywhere else - very glad to have found it at WesSpur. I highly recommend it. ”

“ I've only used Klein spurs so I can't compare others but I have used them for 36 years beginning with the old fashion L pads then the Euc pads that still wore into your leg as the pad wore in and lost cushion against the top of the shank, this recent set of Klein Spurs with Big Buck Pads is Sweet !!! and after 8 to 10 hrs in a tree everything else is killin me instead of the shank wearing a blister into my legs. They're secure feeling as I've always taken a wrap around the lower shank with the strap to minimize any movement, and as comfortable as a set of spurs can be from my experience. The Big Buck Pads are a Sweet compliment to the already top of the Line Klein Spurs. Thanks to the WesSpur web site where I was able to find them. ”

A double-layer of padding makes these super comfortable - top layer is moisture-wicking and insulating, bottom layer is cushioned to absorb impact and conform to the leg. A steel insert provides additional support and protection.
Soft Cushion Wrap pads have 3/4" thick foam and a 4" wide Velcro cinch strap for extra padding and a perfect fit.
Klein spurs with Cast Aluminum pads are an excellent investment in top of the line comfort. Cast pads are solid aluminum and won't wear out like leather. Foam padding replacements available here.
These pads are just as comfortable with the wide Velcro strap and thick padding, but have the added support and protection of a steel insert. Definitely a deluxe set of climbers.
Shin Cup pads have a steel insert for increased support and comfort. The most basic of rigid pads, Shin Cups are still a large step up in comfort from soft pads.
