The very popular Weaver Cougar tree saddles has received an update with a sewn webbing bridge replacing the rope suspension bridge of the original Cougar harness. The new webbing bridge on the Cougar has a black core which contrasts sharply with the orange outer layer. This makes the bridge on the new Cougar easy to visually inspect.

“ I bought this saddle because I the design is ideal for my climbing style. I had not had the opportunity to see one in person, so it was somewhat of a leap of faith. This brand seems to have a better bracketing of saddle sizes. What I mean by that is my size falls squarely in the middle of the range in the small size. This gives better adjustability for seasonal clothing differences. I was very pleased with the construction quality. It appears very well made of quality materials. It is good looking, performs well and is made in America. I would not hestitate to buy this saddle again, and the price is right. ”
