We built this for our customers who are working with big conifers, cottonwoods, and other tall trees. You get a bigger diameter rope and sling, and 250' of rope (instead of 150') to deal with those monster trees. Using this gear you will save wear and tear on your ropes and have better control of your rigging. Everything in your kit will work together reliably within the rated limits. This is our biggest negative block rigging kit to date! The �BIG RIG� kit is built for you to tackle large-diameter trunk wood with confidence. XL Port-a-Wrap has a 3.5" bollard for a good bend-radius on rigging ropes up to 3/4". The 1" x 25� eye sling can hang on stems up to 6� around. Large ISC spring block for running 3/4" Stable Braid, a serious rigging line.
Atlas kit is built around Nylon-core Atlas Rope for more energy-absorption when there is less room to let the rope run. 250� of rigging line is ample for rigging trees up to 90�. This is an excellent go-to rigging kit.
The Nystron Rigging Kit contains everything you need to set up a negative block rigging system with added energy absorption.
Nystron is a double-braid rigging line with nylon core fibers, which makes it stronger and more elastic than all-polyester rigging lines. This translates to more energy absorption in your rigging system. Nystron is ideal for rigging scenarios where there is less room to let the rope run. The extra stretch in the rope helps mitigate some of the shock generated in negative blocking. An excellent choice for managing your large removal jobs.
