Petzl pulleys are designed for compactness, strength, and efficiency. Petzl pulleys are a great addition to any climbing, rescue, or rigging bag. The unique Traxion line of pulleys offers progress-capture functionality in a compact pulley. All Petzl pulleys are backed by a 3-year manufacturer guarantee.
Versatile, ultra-compact pulley from Petzl.
3,375 lb breaking strength, 1/2” capacity, 2 5/8” long by 1 3/4” wide, weighs 2.65 oz.
The Petzl fixed micro pulley is a compact pulley with fixed side plates Makes a great redirect and is highly efficient due to the sheave being mounted on self-lubricating bushings.
5,175 lb breaking strength, 1/2” capacity, 3” tall x 1.75 ” wide, weighs 3.2oz.
Aluminum side plates, large sheave on sealed ball bearings. Extremely efficient, lightweight, and compact. This pulley has a place in any rescue kit.
WLL 720 lb. Breaking Strength 7,200 lb.
Aluminum side plates, sheave, sealed ball bearings, designed for hauling and pulling systems. Highly efficient sheave mounted on ball bearings.
WLL 810 lb. Breaking Strength 8,100 lb.
Aluminum side plates, sheave, sealed ball bearings, designed for hauling and pulling systems. Highly efficient sheaves mounted on ball bearings. Double sheaves, lower becket.
WLL 990 lb. Breaking Strength 9,900 lb.
High efficiency, ultra-light progress capture pulley designed for rescue. Weighs 53g, max rope 11mm, 15 kN MBS, 91% efficiency.
The smallest in the Traxion line of progress-capture pulleys, the Micro Traxion is a super-compact and highly efficient (91%) pulley with great applications in tree climbing. As with the other Traxion series pulleys, the Micro Traxion can be used to create a haul system, but the most exciting use for tree climbers is using the Micro Traxion as a backup above an ascent device like the Petzl Zig Zag during SRT ascent. The Micro Traxion can also be used as a compact emergency ascender.
Max Rope Size: 7/16” (11mm) WLL: 1,125 lb (5 KN) Break Strength: 3,375 lb (15 kN) Weight: 3 oz (85g)

“Need to leave a tree threaded with cord to facilitate repeated access? This pulley will greatly reduce the friction when pulling up a rope, but many pulleys will safely accomplish that! The Petzl Rescue is special because the space between its wheel and side plates is too narrow to accept most cord. That is, your tagline won't jam in the pulley, so you can keep enjoying that hard-earned access.”
For effective and comfortable hauling of heavy loads with built-in progress capture features. These pulleys are really 3 devices in 1: pulley, self-jamming pulley, and rope clamp/grab. Can be used to haul a load, raise a person, set up a hauling system or self belay. Also work well for Tyrolean traverses and ascending, and are an indispensable device for any rescue kit. The Pro Traxion has safe working load of 6kN(1,350 lb.) as a pulley and 4kN(900 lb.) as a self-jamming pulley. Lower becket , large diameter sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings, chrome plated steel cam, swinging side plates, 1/2” capacity.
Double pulley designed for use with the JAG TRAXION double progress capture pulley to make a 4:1 haul system. Sheaves mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency.
Double progress capture pulley designed for use with the JAG double pulley to make a 4:1 haul system. Sheaves mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency.
The SPIN L1 pulley is designed for maximum simplicity in setting up hauling or load deviation systems, and tyroleans. Its swivel allows the pulley to be oriented under load, and direct connection of carabiners, ropes or slings. Can be opened, even when attached to the anchor.
The SPIN L2 is a double pulley designed for maximum simplicity when setting up hauling systems or tyroleans for work at height or rescue. The two parallel-mounted sheaves and auxiliary attachment point allow the pulley to be used when setting up various types of complex haul systems. Its swivel facilitates handling, allowing the pulley to be oriented under load, and direct connection of carabiners, ropes or slings. Openable even when attached to the anchor.
The SPIN L1D pulley is to be used in conjunction with a descender for maximum simplicity in setting up a deviation for a heavy load deviation, or haul systems for work at height or rescue. Its faceted sheave only rotates in one direction, providing excellent efficiency when hauling and adding friction zones for the rope for additional braking when lowering. The swivel facilitates handling, allowing the pulley to be oriented under load, and direct connection of carabiners, ropes or slings.
Releasable double progress capture pulley for haul systems.
Releasable, the TWIN RELEASE progress capture pulley is designed to set up 4:1 haul systems for work in confined spaces or for technical rescue. Releasing the cam is possible with the ergonomic handle. The brake integrated into the moving side plate and the main faceted sheave with single-direction rotation, offer additional braking and better control when lowering heavy loads. The two sheaves provide excellent hauling efficiency. The swivel facilitates operations, allowing the pulley to be oriented under load and direct connection of carabiners, ropes, or slings.
This double pulley is designed for cable or rope Tyroleans with an integrated Petzl Vertigo carabiner built-in. It's ideal for use in forest adventure parks or your home-made zip-lines. The Trac is easily installed with one hand, and the aligned sheaves and sealed ball bearings will give great performance with minimal friction and maximum efficiency. 1/2” capacity. Not designed for use in rigging zip-lines. (See our speed line kit for use with branches and logs.) WLL 450 lb. Breaking Strength 4,500 lb.
Designed for Tyrolean traverses on rope or making zip lines. Sheaves mounted on self-lubricating bushings for good efficiency. Maximum allowable speed: 10 m/s. Accepts up to three carabiners to facilitate use.
WLL 2,225 lb. Breaking Strength 5,400 lb.
Petzl's JAG kit is ideal for aerial rescue kits. This haul kit is great for pick-offs, making a releasable anchor, or tensioning a system, thanks to its 4:1 mechanical advantage and excellent efficiency (sheaves with sealed ball bearings). The collapsed kit is very compact, making usage possible even if the distance to the anchor is very short - especially useful for lifting an injured climber if there is very little room to anchor the kit. The JAG system haul kit is quick and easy to deploy: it is ready to use thanks to the flexible cover that prevents any risk of tangling. The haul end is color coded for instant identification.
The Jag Pulley and progress-capturing Jag Traxion are also available individually for building your own set of 4s.
