We've gotten our hands on the newest tool for understanding forces in tree rigging. In the video below, Niceguydave goes over the use and development of Samson's Log Impact Force Calculator, and why it is a great tool for training. This video demonstrates the usage of the calculator, and these instructions are also clearly laid out on the sleeve when you buy one. If you want to make sure that you are using the right rope for the tree, and preserve the working life of your rope, this is a great new tool.
