Samson rope splicing instructions use fid-lengths to measure the rope. You will need to pick up the tubular aluminum fid corresponding to the diameter of rope you want to splice to use the Samson rope splicing instructions. Instructions for splicing Class I double braid ropes are included with this splicing kit.
