The Rock Exotica Hydra pulley combines a great pulley, efficient swivel, and rigging plate all into one unit. The Hydra shines as a rolling attachment point on rope bridge harnesses, where the swivel eliminates twisting of the climbing line. Other uses include running the hydra to tend your friction hitch on a lanyard, using it to tend a friction hitch on a climbg line, and more.
The carabiner holes in the triple attachment top are rubber-lined to keep your carabiners positioned correctly (works best with RockO oval carabiners). Every component of the Hydra pulley is machined to be rope-friendly, and built for strength - the Hydra is rated at 28kN and weighs only 5.6 oz.
Note that the Hydra has no swinging sideplates, so it can't be installed midline.
