Working in the rain is a challenge. Once you get soaked, the day is going to go downhill fast! At WesSpur, we have solid work wear to help you stay dry all year round. Whether you want lightweight, breathable rain wear or a heavy-duty jacket that also insulates, we've got the right gear for you.
The Breathedry waterproof smock is a lightweight, breathable, pullover jacket built with the arborist in mind. Extra-long back sheds water, and high collar with waterproof zipper and neck protector prevents water intrusion. An adjustable hood is big enough to fit over a helmet, and stows away in the collar when not needed. Hood has a wired peak, a bungee volume adjuster draw cord, and a large hook & loop storm flap.
Sleeves have inner soft cuffs with thumb loops, plus hook & loop tab fasteners to keep the cuffs watertight. A large breast pocket with waterproof zipper can take a smart phone, and further large pouch pocket can be accessed by long side zippers. The pouch pocket also acts as a ventilation point, with mesh panels inside. Zippered ventilation ports in the armpits and access zipper at the bottom of each side - useful for accessing your harness.
Fitting Note: These jackets are pullover, and fit close to the body. If you are on the border between sizes, or want to wear it over sweatshirts, we recommend the size up.

“This jacket is bad ass! The thumb holes are kinda off and it's a trim athletic cut, but the rest is awesome! Im 5'7" 185# and I got the large. The collar is high and goes above the bottom of a helmet, the long tail keeps water from dripping down your crack. It's fully waterproof and tough as nails. Been testing it all winter here in Seattle climbing and pruning. The hood is removable, and also shows in the collar. The pass thru pocket is easy to get into and very large. Has pit zips as well as bottom up side zips for extra ventilation. All in all, great piece of rain gear for those living in one of the wettest places on Earth...”

“Purchased this smock in November and it is perfect whether the trees are wet from a recent storm or you're working in the rain. I also wear it to stay dry in the winter if the trees are loaded with snow or during snow storms where the temperature causes the snow to be a little heavy. Simply put on a mid-layer shirt underneath, the smock, climbing gear, and go to work. Opening the side zippers makes clipping the rope snap or accessing the Transporter quite convenient. At 5-11, 185, the large fits me well, even with a sweat shirt under it. I like that the hood fits over my helmet, especially on the wetter days. The green smock gets dirty in a hurry, but cleans pretty well on the delicate cycle.”

“ Just received this raincoat overall I am happy with the look and feel but I should have ordered a large instead of a medium no room underneath to wear anything in cold weather it is not very thick I am 5 10 about 175 lb it's tight in the shoulders when I extend my arms out and the sleeves are a little short cannot use the thumb holes the hood fits nicely over a climbing helmet.”

“I got this jacket as we get dumped on all winter here in Bellingham. The construction is great - high collar and long tail give excellent coverage, especially as I am using it primarily for bike commuting in the rain. The central pocket is pass-through, which is handy if you forget which pocket you put what in, like I do. The hood is bulky if you have it stowed in the collar, but it also provides a little insulation on the back of the head/neck below the helmet. I am 6'2" and 225 lb, and a large fits perfectly, but if I was going to wear a big sweatshirt I would definitely need an XL. The arms aren't quite long enough to use the thumbholes for me, but that's not a big deal. The cut of the sleeve is very nice and comes down over the cuff of gloves, giving me a nice, water-proof line all down the arm.”
