Sterling Ropes knows that performance in a tree-rigging rope is not just about strength. Atlas is a strong, 9/16" rigging line that has very good energy absorption thanks to the nylon core under the polyester sheath. The extra stretch in Atlas helps to absorb energy when negative blocking, reducing peak loads and impact. Atlas maintains a good hand and stays round, making it run well on a Port-a-Wrap, block, or the capstan winch on the GRCS.

“ This is a great rigging rope. Wonderful hand, easy to knot, runs great on the bollard. There are some slightly stronger 9/16 lines out there, but none that can match Atlas for ease. We choose this line over our others every time.”
