One of the first lines ever designed specifically for arborists, Arbor-Plex 1/2” remains one of the most economical ropes on the market. In the 1/2” diameter, has a breaking strength of 6,000 lbs. and is rated as a climbing line. At 6.8 lbs. per 100 ft., Arbor-Plex is one of the lightest climbing lines we sell. Arbor-Plex is a 12 strand single braid rope with a polyester cover surrounding polyolefin fibers in the center, making it abrasion resistant as well as lightweight. It is a great choice for wet climates where mildew and rot can be a problem. Arbor-Plex is Non-Spliceable. Click on a picture for a larger image. Ultra-Tech Eye to Eye Prusik Lanyard

The original heat resistant prusik cord for emergency descents. 5/16” Ultra-tech is strong and has Technora core so it won't melt through. 5,400 lbs. tensile. Spliced eyes. 30” overall. This is a great prusik for use with all ropes, and especially Samson ropes.
