Sirius Bull rope is a 100% polyester double braid like other arborist rigging ropes, but has the unique feature of regular strands throughout the cover that offer warning when the rope has been overloaded. At 5/8" (16mm), this rope is easier to handle and provides higher strength compared to 1/2” lines. At this size and breaking strength, 16mm Sirius rope is suitable for larger rigging jobs.

*Breaking load listed is for non-spliced or knotted rope; spliced strength is approximately 85%.

ANSI Z133-2017

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released the ANSI Z133 safety requirements which apply to arboriculutral operations. Components of a rigging system must be used within their Working Load Limits.

This product is ANSI compliant when used within the manufacturer Working Load Limits.

A green log weight chart (found in the Samson Rigging Wheel) will aid in determining loads in tree rigging.
