Samson's Nystron offers impressive working loads and break strengths with added energy absorption. Nystron double-braid provides the advantages of high strength retention, and great energy absorption / shock mitigation. Nystron resists abrasion and works especially well in wet environments. With a Samthane-coated polyester jacket and a nylon core, Nystron combines the durability and abrasion resistance of polyester with a more energy-absorbing nylon core. This is especially useful when using Nystron in negative blocking, such as large removals. 9/16” Samson Nystron is incredibly strong for its size, and makes a great line for removals and large pruning jobs.

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released the ANSI Z133 safety requirements which apply to arboriculutral operations. Components of a rigging system must be used within their Working Load Limits.
