GriGri 2
ASC215

New version of the GriGri in 2011 is 20% lighter and 25% more compact! The GriGri 2 is an extremely popular descender which uses a handle to control the rate of descent. When the handle is released, the GriGri 2 self-brakes and engages the cam to halt descent. The GriGri 2 can be used in conjunction with a handled rope ascender and foot loop for short ascents in the sit/stand climbing method. Compact and easy to use!

Maximum rope capacity: 7/16” (11mm) (optimized for use on 9.4mm to 10.3mm ropes)
