This kit is comfortable, versatile, and shaves off every ounce of weight possible. Butterfly II saddle weighs only 4lbs, and the Velocity rope is the lightest climbing line we sell. This kit is perfect for climbers who want the lightest-weight climbing gear available.

- Butterfly II Tree Saddle is one of the newest generation of saddles
- Butterfly II features thick padding, multiple tie-in points, quick-connect leg buckles, multiple gear loops
- Butterfly II Saddles is modular, meaning the lower section can be replaced or exchanged for a batten seat to turn the saddle into the Dragonfly Saddle
- Samson Velocity is a light-weight 24-strand double braid, the lightest climbing line we can find (5.6lbs per 100’)
- Double-braid flipline with carabiner and micrograb is a lightweight, adjustable flipline for an additional tie-in while climbing and working
- The included split tail set-up includes a micro pulley for easy slack tending
- Kit can be used to ascend and descend
- Throw line kit provides an easy way to install the rope in the tree
- The included Tree Climber's Companion is richly illustrated and explains tree terms, knots, and safe climbing practices using the equipment in this kit

Safety and Technical Information
- The included Komet Butterfly II Saddle is intended for work positioning and not intended for use as a fall-arrest harness
- Velocity has a breaking strength of 5,600 lbs. and meets the safety requirements for climbing line
- The Petzl carabiners included are positive-locking and have a breaking strength of 6,3000 lbs (28kN)
- Regular inspection of all equipment should be performed by a trained professional
- Adherence to the
ANSI Z133.1 2006 safety requirements for Arboricultural Operations is highly recommended.
Additional Recommendations:
This kit contains all the Deluxe equipment necessary to climb a tree without spurs, and can be built on with some of the upgrades below for additional climbing techniques. If you are climbing a tree to remove it, one of our
spur climbing kits may work better for you.
