WesSpur offers throwline kits for each of our arborist throwlines. Each kit contains a hank of throwline, a storage bag, and a throw weight in the size of your choice.
WesSpur stocks a variety of arborist throw lines to use fore installing a climbing line or friction saver in a tree. Samson Zing-It throw line is a high-strength, abrasion resistant throwline made by Samson Ropes especially for arborists. Fling-It throw line is a newer line with a square cross section, good breaking strength, and easy to see color. We also stock slick line throw line, a diamond braid 1/8" throw line which is an inexpensive way to install a line in a tree. Fling it and Zing it throwline are best stored in a bag or bucket, (found here) and never coiled.
Kit comes 1.75mm Samson Zing-It, choice of throw weight, and throw line storage bag. Zing-it is made from Dyneema fiber, and yields the highest strength, lightest weight, lowest stretch and longest wear life available. Samthane coating adds wear life and ensures the knot-holding capability. Available in 1.75mm (400 lbs. average strength) and 2.20mm (580 lbs. average strength).
