The West Coast Shoe Company (Wesco) has been making boots since 1918 and they put over 85 years of experience into the 155 steps it takes to craft a single pair of Wesco boots. From the solid brass studs of the lace eyelets to the full leather insole, steel shank, and tough Vibram traction, every inch of a Wesco boot is marked by the quality they built their name on. WesSpur sells the Wesco stock boots in sizes 8.5 through 13, and widths D and E, and you can always order a custom build to get exactly the boot you want fitted precisely to your foot. We really believe that these are the best boots in the tree business. Wesco boots are built at the factory in Scapoose, Oregon, USA.
Don't forget to pick up some Wesco Bee Oil and Wesco Bee Seal to keep your boots in top shape!
The Highliner is built just for the climber, with an extra heavy steel shank for support on the gaff, a steel side plate (in 430 sole only) and recessed metal heel breastplate (protects the boot from wear from climbing spurs.) The tall sides protect your leg from the spur and the insole is cushioned with extra leather for increased comfort. The folks at Wesco realize that when you are operating a saw in the tree, comfort is about more than how your feet feel, it’s also about safety. The Highliners are designed to reduce as much fatigue, discomfort, and wear as possible so that your mind is 100% focused on your work and not your aching feet. The Wesco Highliner is just the best boot for those who work in trees and poles.
